Why is my visibility 0%?

A visibility of 0% means your brand was not mentioned in any AI responses during the selected time period. This can happen if:
  • Your project just finished bootstrapping and hasn’t collected enough data yet
  • Your brand is niche and not yet widely recognized by AI models
  • The selected time period or filter is too narrow
Try expanding the date range or checking individual prompts to see which ones have mentions.

Why is sentiment missing for some data?

Sentiment analysis was added after the platform’s initial launch. Responses collected before that update may not have sentiment scores. All new responses are analyzed for sentiment automatically. A sentiment value of 0 means no data is available — it does not mean negative sentiment.

What does position rank 0 mean?

A position rank of 0 means there is no position data available for your brand for that prompt or time period. This happens when your brand was not mentioned in any responses, so no character position could be calculated.

How often is data refreshed?

Topify.ai processes all active prompts once per day. Each prompt is sent to all three AI providers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overview), and the responses are analyzed for brand mentions, sentiment, and citations. Bootstrap analysis runs immediately when you create a new project.

Can I change my brand name after creating a project?

Yes. Go to your project settings to update the brand name. You can also add brand aliases — alternative names or spellings that Topify.ai should also look for when analyzing responses.

What are brand aliases?

Brand aliases are alternative names for your brand. For example, if your brand is “League of Legends,” you might add “LoL” as an alias. Topify.ai checks for all aliases when determining if your brand was mentioned in a response. Manage aliases from your project settings page.

How are suggested prompts generated?

Topify.ai uses AI to generate prompt suggestions based on your brand, industry, website content, and existing prompt coverage. Suggestions aim to cover relevant topics that your current prompts might be missing. You can generate new suggestions from the Suggested tab on the prompts page.

What file formats does content generation support?

You can upload reference files in the following formats:
  • PDF (.pdf)
  • Word (.docx)
  • CSV (.csv)
  • Excel (.xlsx)
  • Text (.txt)
These files are used as additional context during article generation.

Why do metrics differ between AI providers?

Each AI provider has its own model, training data, and response style. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overview may mention different brands, cite different sources, and express different sentiments for the same query. This is expected. Use the provider filter on the dashboard to compare performance across providers and identify where to focus optimization efforts.

What happens when my trial ends?

When your trial expires, your workspace moves to the free tier. Your data and projects are preserved, but you’ll be limited to free-tier quotas (10 prompts, 1 seat, etc.). You can upgrade to a paid plan at any time to restore full access.
